Amrithavarshini Belgie is a music school to impart and propagate Indian Classical music in Belgium and neighbouring European countries.

The mission of this school is to revive the age old Indian classical music, maintaining a traditional approach in teaching and presenting classical music as it is.

Founder

Amrithavarshini is the brain child of an established Carnatic Vocalist, Trivandrum Dr. Uma Ramakrishnan who has an un paralleled niche in the field of Carnatic music. The mentor has moulded the students and activities of the organisation to an internationally competent level of knowledge and quality.

The school has the privilege to have groomed few exceptional young performers who are successfully performing all over the world.

Guru Shishya Parampara

Guru Shishya Parampara, also known as the teacher-disciple tradition, is a time-honored practice in Indian classical music.

Amrithavarshini has a good number of students in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Basic-Advanced Level classes are offered in the following categories.

Amrithavarshini Belgie has a tie up with The Tamil Nadu Dr.J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University for off campus courses in music from Certificate to Advanced Diploma Levels.
